Make To Do List Work for YOU!
I make my to do list work for my job and my happiness.
So anyone who has every worked with me knows that I ๐ live by my To Do List.
I love โ๏ธ marking off completed tasks which truthfully turns into excessive scribbling on top of whatever it was I just finished.
Apps To Do List
I’ll make lists electronically on my ๐ฑ phone if I don’t have paper around, but I still love the feeling of using a pen to eliminate the words on my paper.
I just prefer to use the Notes App on my iPhone but for groceries I highly recommend AnyList!
If you ask me to help you out or do something for you, especially while I’m busy at school, it’s sure to get done as long as it makes in on my list!
What happens if it doesn’t get on my list?
It just doesn’t get done. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Seriously, I don’t do it on purpose; I’ve just got a lot of thoughts circling other thoughts.
Once on my list – ๐ BOOM! I’ll get it done.

Making a To Do List
But lately I noticed that when I make my To Do Lists, they are a bit of a ๐ช bummer.
Pay bills, clean, pick up groceries, do lesson plans, mow the grass, and on and on.
So, I thought, “Well, this stinks. I totally need to add some enjoyable things on my list.
I started and โค๏ธ love โค๏ธ it.
It’s nice to know that I have something, even one thing, that day that I HAVE to do for ๐ฅฐ fun.

Things that usually show up on my lists as fun tasks also help me relax.
Here’s my go to ๐ list
- Go for a walk
- Read a chapter from a book
- Watch a favorite show
- Take a long soaking bath (just for the record I shower daily so don’t get any ideas that I’m a grimy stinkball; it’s just that a bath is a whole different level of relaxing.)
- Do yoga
- Cut and arrange flowers
- Visit with friends and family
- Snug my cut
- Go out to eat
I encourage you to keep a To Do List if you need help accomplishing tasks and feeling accomplished, but I highly recommend that your list helps you enjoy ๐ life and focus on fun, happiness, and relaxing!
