These can be added to students’ IEPs to help them reach their behavior goals.
This set includes both printable and online interactive versions available, complete with 44 awesome incentive pictures.
If you want to get the most out of these boards, I highly recommend printing them in color, laminating them, and cutting them out.
Then, simply attach some Velcro to the cards, dots, and reward pictures, and watch the magic happen!
There are three different versions of the “I am working for” boards.
They’re super helpful for students with autism in the general education classroom.
The token chart for the autism set comes with either three, four, or five empty circles.
To start, students who need faster reinforcement begin with the three circle board and gradually work their way up to the four circle board, and finally the five circle board.
Here’s how Monster Behavior Token Boards work
There are 24 yellow dots supplied, and when the targeted behavior is observed, one dot is transferred to the empty circle.
When the student follows the rule or exhibits the desired behavior, a dot is awarded.
Eventually, when all the dots on the board are collected, the student pays the teacher with the five dots and is immediately given the reward that was targeted.
The visual aids and five dots help students see the goal and gradually work towards achieving it.
The choice board are super important because they help us track progress and motivate our students.
Here’s how it works: first, we identify a specific behavior we want to work on and label it as the “My goal” section on the board.
To make things easier, we’ve already included 41 pre-made goals for you to choose from.
It’s also a good idea to have any important rules or behaviors posted somewhere visible so you can refer to them often.
Next, the student gets to pick between 4-8 incentives that they’re interested in working towards.
From there, they select one specific incentive to focus on and place it on the “I am working for” board at the start of an empty board.
And don’t worry, if they want to switch up their reward at any time, they’re welcome to do so at the beginning of each new card.
Then have your student work their way to a reward!
